Erik ten Hag names team to face Liverpool
Erik ten Hag has named his Manchester United side to face Liverpool in our final game of Tour 2024, presented by Snapdragon.
The boss has made four changes from our penultimate pre-season outing against Real Betis, with Andre Onana, Jonny Evans, Toby Collyer and Mason Mount coming into the side to face our Premier League rivals – which fans can watch live by subscribing to MUTV (00:45 BST kick-off).
Marcus Rashford is fit enough to retain his place in our XI, having been taken off with an apparent knock three days ago in San Diego, and there's further representation for the club's Academy in the starting line-up with Evans and Collyer being re-introduced to the side and Harry Amass keeping his spot at left-back.
Harry Maguire is absent from the matchday squad, as a precaution.
Victor Lindelof and Aaron Wan-Bissaka make up the remaining places in our backline, while Casemiro complements Collyer and Mount in the midfield engine room.
Amad, on the scoresheet for the second time during pre-season against Real Betis last time out, is again in from the start on the right, with Rashford and Jadon Sancho taking up the remaining attacking positions.
UNITED XI: Onana, Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Evans, Amass, Casemiro, Collyer, Amad, Mount, Rashford, Sancho.
SUBS: Heaton, Vitek, Bennett, Fish, Murray, Eriksen, Fletcher, Hannibal, Mather, McTominay, Oyedele, Scanlon, Antony, Wheatley.
