Ten Hag names team to face Arsenal
Erik ten Hag has named his Manchester United side to face Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
The boss has made just one change from last weekend’s win against Nottingham Forest.
Victor Lindelof comes into the defence in place of Raphael Varane, who was withdrawn through injury last time out.
Meanwhile, there are several new faces in the matchday squad who could feature for the Reds for the first time.
Rasmus Hojlund's potential involvement was confirmed by manager Erik ten Hag earlier this week, and the Dane is selected as a substitute in the capital.
He is joined on the bench by three of our deadline-day additions, with new signings Sergio Reguilon and Altay Bayindir among our potential reinforcements.
Jonny Evans, the third of Friday's new arrivals, could make his second United debut, more than 15 years on from his first.
Speaking to Sky Sports ahead of kick-off, Ten Hag said: "These are two teams who can defend very well, so it’s going to be an interesting game where both teams want to take the initiative in the game, both in and out of possession.
"We are looking for that - to be on the front foot, to be brave on the ball, to give each other options and to run free in the right zones.
"We have to take Arsenal out of their own comfort zone and they will be looking to do the same with us I’m sure.”
There are also places among the substitutes for two young midfielders, in Hannibal and potential debutant Dan Gore.
Arsenal: Ramsdale; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Rice, Odegaard; Saka, Havertz, Martinelli; Nketiah.
Substitutes: Raya, Kiwior, Tomiyasu, Jorginho, Vieira, Smith Rowe, Nelson, Jesus, Trossard.
United: Onana; Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Martinez, Dalot; Casemiro, Eriksen; Antony, Fernandes, Rashford; Martial.
Substitutes: Bayindir, Maguire, Reguilon, Evans, Pellistri, Gore, Hannibal, Hojlund, Garnacho.
From kick-off at 16:30 BST, you can follow live updates and listen to radio commentary on ManUtd.com and in the United App.
