Manchester United travel to London today (Saturday) for a highly anticipated Premier League encounter with Chelsea.

Following the electric atmosphere inside Old Trafford for our midweek victory over Spurs on Wednesday, Erik ten Hag's side will no doubt be pining for our next outing at the Theatre of Dreams.

And as the Reds prepare to travel to London on Saturday, Erik heaped the praise upon our home support and shared his appreciation for those heading down south to cheer on the Reds this weekend.

Erik talks about Maguire, Martial, the United faithful and more in his exclusive matchday interview...

''It's great, at home at Old Trafford,” he said to club media in his exclusive matchday Q&A.

“There was a fabulous atmosphere, just like every time we play there.

“But also away, there are so many, and it is pity they cannot all come tomorrow."

When the 17:30 BST kick-off time was confirmed at the start of October, United’s away allocation for the game at Stamford Bridge was reduced due to policing concerns.

This was a disappointment for many of our fans who had already purchased tickets to the fixture. During his interview Erik revealed that, in an effort to help those who missed out, he and his players relinquished their own ticket allocation for the fixture.

“As a squad we did as much as we could, including sending tickets back from the players to ensure as many fans could be involved and come to support us,” he said.

“I'm sure they will back us there and we feel the responsibility to get the right result and show the right performance at Stamford Bridge.''

The Reds have an opportunity to leapfrog Graham Potter’s side and go into the Premier League's top four with a victory on Saturday.

Against Spurs on Wednesday, United's players appeared to feed off the energy from our supporters in the stands, and they will no doubt be looking to do the same again this weekend to give our vocal travelling fans something to cheer about.
