Pellistri is ready to face fellow Reds

Manchester United’s Uruguayan winger Facundo Pellistri is currently representing his nation at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Following a 0-0 draw with South Korea in their opening fixture of the winter tournament, La Celeste would ideally like to pick up three points in their second match.

However, their next opponents are an impressive Portugal side who are top of Group H, following a 3-2 win over Ghana on matchday one.

Uruguay’s match against the Selecao, which will be played at the Lusail Stadium, holds extra intrigue for United supporters, who will be eager to see Pellistri go toe-to-toe with his Reds team-mates Bruno Fernandes and Diogo Dalot.
