Fixture switch for Under-18s

Tuesday 13 December 2022 14:30

Manchester United's Under-18 Premier League match with Middlesbrough on Saturday has been switched.

The two sides are still meeting, but at Carrington rather than  in Teesside.

The clash will now kick off at 12:00 GMT, rather than half an hour later, and is to be shown live on MUTV, ManUtd.com and the Unietd App.

As a consequence, the away fixture at Boro's training ground will be held on Saturday 22 April 2023 (12:30 GMT kick-off).

Reds achieve impressive Youth Cup win

Goals from Maxi Oyedele, Manni Norkett and Sam Mather seal victory for the holders at a foggy Selhurst Park.

It is a penultimate scheduled outing of the year for Travis Binnion's side, with another north-east opponent in Sunderland due at Carrington on Tuesday 20 December, for a game that should kick off at 13:00 GMT.

The young Reds will be eagerly awaiting the outcome of the Stoke City v Blackpool fixture in the FA Youth Cup this weekend - our fourth-round visit to the winners of that tie is the reward for Sunday's excellent victory at Crystal Palace.

There is more live action planned for MUTV viewers over the weekend, with United Women hosting Sheffield United in the Continental Cup on Sunday.

The tie will be broadcast live from Leigh Sports Village, with the action getting under way at 12:00 GMT.

Tickets are still available online for the final game of the year for Marc Skinner's side.
