Guess Ruben Amorim's first XI

The new boss will be contemplating his selection for Sunday's Premier League encounter at Ipswich Town, with much focus on the formation he will deploy.

However, Ruben told us in his exclusive interview last week: "A lot of people now talk about the 3-4-3 and the 4-3-3 and all that stuff. But, when I think as a player or as a team-mate of Manchester United, it is not a system or formation, it's like the character of the players, the way they see the club.

"So we have to focus on that before the everything of how we play, how we press."

Nonetheless, many of those choosing the formation in our United Predictions game in the United App may be opting for one with three central defenders, judging by Amorim's previous body of work.

Hence, any news on the fitness of the likes of Luke Shaw, Leny Yoro, Harry Maguire, Lisandro Martinez and Victor Lindelof will be interesting, when Ruben holds his first press conference, at Carrington on Friday, which we will cover in full from 14:00 GMT.

If wing-backs are used, who fits the bill in this regard? Full-backs or wingers, or one of each? Who leads the line in attack?

There are clearly so many questions waiting to be answered, which makes for an exciting spell of anticipation.
