#ILOVEUNITED returns for 2020/21 season

With the global pandemic putting the brakes on international travel, the online experience will be brought to a series of countries throughout the season, with each episode focused on Manchester United fans in the relevant region, the first being India.

The first event will take place on 12 December in the build-up to the team’s Premier League home derby game against Manchester City. Ahead of kick-off, fans in India will hear from some familiar faces including local fan favourites and first-team players, and get an exclusive live look behind the scenes at Old Trafford in the build-up to one of the most highly-anticipated games of the season.

Club legends Wes Brown - who played for India’s Kerala Blasters - and Darren Fletcher will be on hand to host a pre-match programme live from Old Trafford, including the build-up to the big game, insights into their time at the club, and opportunities for fans to pick their favourite Manchester derby moments.

“Our first #ILOVEUNITED of 2020 will focus on India, with more countries unveiled as the season unfolds. We look forward to making this experience even more accessible and create a fully immersive and entertaining event for our fans.”

Fans who register for the event before Sunday 6 December will also have the opportunity to win a chance to access the #ILOVEUNITED+ platform, which will allow fans to meet club ambassadors Bryan Robson, Dwight Yorke, Denis Irwin and Andrew Cole online, and participate in our virtual audience during the show.
