No matter where you are in the world, we’re all united by this great club.

On Sunday 20 February, we staged a special 90-minute virtual pre-match show at Old Trafford, to get excited ahead of the high-octane game against Leeds with some of our dedicated fans from India, and then gave our fans the chance to vote where our next event there should take place.

The live stream was presented by one of our 1999 Treble winners, Wes Brown, alongside Mark Sullivan.

The pair were accompanied by Anant Tyagi, and there were also appearances from United legend Dimitar Berbatov, and cricket icons Carlos Brathwaite and Yuvraj Singh.

Find out which Indian city won the poll to host the next #ILoveUnited India fan event...

We spoke to myriad keen United fans from different cities in India, who were on hand to build a real buzz ahead of the highly anticipated game away at Leeds’ Elland Road stadium.

During the live event, we also heard from two world champions in their respective sports, Paul Pogba and Jofra Archer. The pair had a great chat on what United means to them both, among many other things.

Pogba, Juan Mata and Nemanja Matic also sat down for a series of exclusive #ILoveUnited diaries, which were presented by TeamViewer.

Our fans from India sent in some great questions for the players and below are just three of the many great questions that were asked.

Aanchal, New Delhi: If you had to pick an alternative sport to play professionally, what would it be? The answers ranged from basketball to tennis, but which Red picked which sport?

Mohak, New Delhi: What was it like when Ronaldo re-signed, and what is it like to play and train with one of the best players in the world? It’s easy to see why so many people idolise Cristiano and Paul's answer only encapsulates that further. He said: “It’s great to see him train and to try and learn from him. We look up to him for sure.”

Shivam, Mumbai: Who do you think is the most talented player currently in the United set-up? Juan gave a special mention to Shola Shoretire, while going on to explain why he likes the youngster's style, and also alluded to some talents that haven’t got their name out there yet, but soon will.

The main event was the poll as we left it up to the viewers to choose which city out of Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai and New Delhi should be our next destination, and we’re pleased to announce that Kolkata was the winner!

Rick, who was Kolkata’s representative, explained that his city is one of the few in the country where football is more popular than cricket, and that Kolkata has always had a huge role to play in the history of Indian football. The United fan community in Kolkata has also been proudly supporting the club for over 10 years, and that varies across different age groups and generations, too.

While we’re certainly looking forward to heading to Kolkata, hopefully we’ll also be able to visit other cities in India further down the line too. In the meantime, we want to thank you for your passionate support, and here’s to seeing you all soon!
