Sancho opens his Old Trafford account

Jadon Sancho netted his first Old Trafford goal when smashing past Joe Lumley to give the Reds a 2t5h-minute lead against Middlesbrough.

Having netted his first United goal back in November against Villarreal, Sancho then doubled his United tally just five days later, scoring a calmly taken effort in the side's 1-1 draw with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Our no.25 has had to wait patiently to open his account at the Theatre of Dreams, as he latched onto a superb lofted pass from Bruno Fernandes to fire home the Reds' opener.

Of course, the England winger did appear to have scored in the win over Burnley earlier in the campaign.

Sancho's shot took a deflection off Ben Mee and eventually went down as an own goal by the Clarets defender as the Reds ran out 3-1 victors on 30 December.

Joining from Borussia Dortmund this summer, the England international has had to wait until his 12th Old Trafford appearance to find the net, also recording his first in the FA Cup along the way too.

Netting 50 times and registering 64 assists in 147 for the Bundesliga side, United signed the forward on a five-year-deal back in July last year.

Jadon Sancho smashed home United's opener earlier this evening.
Here's to many more in United colours, congrats Jadon!
