Garner receives England U21s call-up

Manchester United midfielder James Garner, currently on loan at Nottingham Forest, has been called up to England's Under-21s side.

Lee Carsley's side have four fixtures in their UEFA U21 Euro qualifying group as they take on Czech Republic, Kosovo, Albania and Slovenia, all in the space of 10 days in June.

Garner is a part of the 24-man squad, having also played in March’s fixtures against Andorra and Albania.

The Young Lions are currently sat in second place in their qualifying group, and take on leaders Czech Republic on Friday 3 June to begin the busy schedule.
