TV, music, games, books and exercise… those are arguably the five most popular ways of spending time during this ongoing lockdown, yet Javier 'Chicharito’ Hernandez is thinking out of the box.

The former Manchester United striker has delighted Reds supporters around the world by posting a picture of his Old Trafford LEGO set, complete with the caption:

“Once a Red, always a Red!”

As a result, Chicha’s mentions on Twitter and Instagram have been lighting up ever since he posted, with many supporters paying tribute to his popular spell as a Red, in which he scored 59 goals in 157 appearances.

It is clear the prolific goalscorer still loves United, as you can see here...

While the Mexican hitman is assembling his very own Theatre of Dreams, brick by brick, you can kill a little time of your own by watching his United highlights below...

Watch this to see why Javier 'Chicharito' Hernandez remains a cult hero for United supporters...

WHERE IS THE LITTLE PEA?

Chicharito recently completed a transfer to LA Galaxy in the United States and made his MLS debut against Houston Dynamo in late February, before playing a second game versus Vancouver Whitecaps in March.

The Mexican marksman is not the only former United player to join the Galaxy, of course, after the iconic David Beckham blazed a trail by moving to the American club from Real Madrid back in 2007.

More recently, Zlatan Ibrahimovic represented them and the former Reds striker was a big hit in the City of Angels, scoring 52 goals and registering 17 assists throughout his two campaigns there.

'NO PRESSURE TO REPLACE IBRA'

That is the message Hernandez recently conveyed during an interview with ESPN, when he explained his determination to lead LA Galaxy to the title.

“Is there pressure? Not really, because he didn’t win a championship,” Chicharito said. “If we win a championship, that's going to change everything.

“Zlatan has been a very special guy all around the world, not only here [with] the Galaxy. You see right now in AC Milan, he went there and started scoring goals. AC Milan started playing better. He’s a very special guy.

“But one of the things I spoke about with Galaxy was they saw in me, apart from scoring goals, that I will be the best fit for the team to get the most valuable and most important thing for us, and that is winning a championship.”

Everybody at United wishes Chicha well with his spell in MLS - and we look forward to seeing a completed Old Trafford LEGO set!
