Manchester United keeper Kieran O'Hara has joined Burton Albion on loan for the 2019/20 season.

The 23-year-old, who was born in Manchester but represents Republic of Ireland at international level, has agreed to join Nigel Clough's League One side.

Kieran O'Hara was voted Macclesfield Town's Player of the Year in 2019/20.

The temporary move to the Staffordshire outfit has been sanctioned to aid Kieran's development.

The homegrown Academy product enjoyed a successful stint with Macclesfield Town last term, earning three individual awards at the club, and helping Sol Campbell's men stave off relegation out of the Football League.

The deal represents the first loan move away from United agreed during the close season with more expected to follow before the deadline.
