Date confirmed for Tranmere v United cup tie
Manchester United's Under-21s will face Tranmere Rovers away in the Leasing.com Trophy on Wednesday 4 December.
The round-of-32 tie will unfortunately clash with the first team's home match against Jose Mourinho's Tottenham Hotspur, as kick-off at Prenton Park is scheduled for 19:45 GMT - 15 minutes after the Premier League action gets under way at Old Trafford.
With Tranmere in Emirates FA Cup action, against Chichester City, on Sunday 1 December, it was not possible to play the Leasing.com Trophy fixture on the Tuesday evening.

Neil Wood's Reds reached the knockout stages of the competition by winning all three group games, against Rotherham United, Lincoln City and Doncaster Rovers.
Obviously, the senior match against Spurs could have a bearing on the players available for the Tranmere tie as Mason Greenwood, who scored the winner at Doncaster, has regularly been involved with Ole's squad and bagged his first Premier League strike, against Sheffield United, at the weekend.
Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that Neil Ryan's Under-18s will face Lincoln City in the third round of the FA Youth Cup next month.
The Imps defeated Wrexham 3-0 at the weekend in round two of the competition.
