Martinez in Team of the Year at Laureus Awards
Lisandro Martinez's Argentina have been named World Team of the Year at the 2023 Laureus Sports Awards.
The Manchester United defender was part of La Albiceleste's World Cup-winning squad in Qatar last, helping his country to it's third title.
Licha was present at the awards ceremony in Paris on Monday evening, alongside fellow United team-mate Christian Eriksen, who scooped the accolade of 'Comeback of the Year'.
Our no.6 is currently out with an ankle injury he sustained during our 2-2 draw with Sevilla last month and is likely to return to action during pre-season.

Martinez arrived at United following his summer move from Ajax, following manager Erik ten Hag through the door.
He quickly became a fans' favourite thanks to his aggressive, commanding and passionate style of play.
Lisandro scored his first goal for United during our 3-2 defeat to Arsenal back in January and notably lifted the Carabao Cup in February.
Martinez has formed a solid partnership alongside Raphael Varane - who he faced off against in the World Cup final - although the pair are currently sidelined with respective injuries.
The former Ajax man then missed out in his country's final Group C encounter against Poland, but played in the round of 16, quarter and semi-finals against Australia, the Netherlands and Croatia respectively.
Martinez returned following the celebrations to feature in our victories over Bournemouth and Manchester City and has made 45 appearances for the Reds in his debut season.
Congratulations, Licha!
