Loan Watch: Assist for Amad as Rangers win
Several of Manchester United’s loanees were in action over the weekend, accumulating two clean sheets and two assists between them.
The first of the assists came from winger Amad, who made the temporary switch to Rangers in January.
In the second half, the Ivory Coast international provided the pivotal pass for Fashion Sakala’s goal, as the Scottish champions extended their lead to 3-0 and ensured they progressed past Annan Athletic into the next round of the Scottish Cup.

James Garner played the full 90 and was influential in Nottingham Forest’s late equaliser on Saturday, as they drew 2-2 at home to Stoke in the Championship.
With just five minutes to play, Forest keeper Brice Samba was sent off for appearing to strike Stoke defender Phil Jagielka, forcing defender Joe Worrall to play in goal for the hosts.
But in the final minute of added time, with the scoreline at 2-1 to Stoke, Garner delivered a fierce free-kick which struck the bar, before Ryan Yates netted to earn Forest a point.

Brandon Williams started at left-back once more for Norwich City on Saturday evening, but the Canaries suffered a 4-0 defeat at the hands of Manchester City, with Raheem Sterling netting a hat-trick and Phil Foden joining him on the scoresheet.
Donny van de Beek was also in Premier League action on Saturday and played a key role in Everton’s 3-0 home win over Leeds United.
Despite not providing an assist or a goal, van de Beek helped the Toffees to control possession in midfield.
Mansfield Town continued their push for the League Two play-offs with a well-earned 0-0 draw away at Bristol Rovers, and loanee Nathan Bishop again featured between the sticks for the Nottinghamshire club.
Finally, centre-back Teden Mengi registered a crucial clean sheet as Birmingham City recorded an impressive 3-0 win over Luton Town in the Championship, the Blues’ first win in five matches.
