Academy sides set for Saturday games

Manchester United's Under-18s and Under-21s both have early afternoon kick-offs this Saturday, before the men's team face Burnley away in the evening.

The younger side, coached by Adam Lawrence, will travel to Sunderland for a Premier League U18 North game that will be shown live on MUTV, ManUtd.com and the United App.

Kick-off at the Academy of Light is scheduled for 12:30 BST, with our club media's coverage beginning 15 minutes beforehand.

Meanwhile, United's Under-21s are at home to Arsenal in Premier League 2; however, fans will be unable to attend on this occasion, as the fixture is being played behind closed doors at Carrington.

The game will get under way at 12:00 BST and while it will not be broadcast live, match highlights will be available on MUTV, ManUtd.com and the United App.
The two matches, kicking off just 30 minutes apart, will round off what has been a busy few days for the Academy.

On Wednesday afternoon, the young Reds went head to head with Bayern Munich at Under-19 level, in the first of our UEFA Youth League fixtures.

Many of the players deployed by coach Travis Binnion will be in action again on Saturday, giving the youngsters some experience of the schedule that Erik ten Hag's senior squad regularly face by playing two games in a week.
