Goals from Erik ten Hag's Reds, Marc Skinner's United Women and our Under-18s and Under-21s have all made the cut, with only one able to be named our best effort of May 2023.

Goal of the Month | Ten great finishes, but only one can win - which gets your vote for our May award?

The men's first team scored some superb goals in May, with Anthony Martial having two strikes on our shortlist.

His cool finish against Wolves capped off a fine team move, while his close-range strike against Chelsea ended another scintillating move from the Reds.

Alejandro Garnacho's late goal against Wolves, which marked his return to the United fold in fine fashion, following his injury, also makes the list.

The young winger burst through on goal and kept his composure, before slotting the ball into the back of the net, via the post, to seal the three points for Erik ten Hag's team.

Speaking of South American brilliance, Casemiro's acrobatic effort at Bournemouth had all the hallmarks of the flair we have come to expect from Brazilian stars.

The holding midfielder found himself in an advanced position and, after Christian Eriksen's pass looped up off a Cherries' defender, Casemiro reacted superbly to turn a remarkable finish beyond Neto.

Bruno Fernandes is the final member of the men's first team on the shortlist, with his composed dink in our final Premier League match of the season, against Fulham, following an eye-of-the-needle pass from Fred.

United Women also have three efforts among the nominations for our May award, with Alessia Russo's emphatic volley against Tottenham being joined by Hayley Ladd's long-range screamer in the Manchester derby and Lucia Garcia's left-footed volley in the final match of the WSL season at Liverpool.

Noam Emeran's free-kick (Under-21s) and Jayden Kamason's back-post volley (Under-18s) complete the shortlist, which is jam-packed with superb strikes.

Thanks for voting for our Goal of the Month awards this season, and good luck to those nominated for May.
