United's star man v Real Sociedad revealed
Manchester United midfielder Nemanja Matic topped the Man of the Match poll for the first time this season for his performance in our 0-0 draw with Real Sociedad.
The Serbain picked up 19 per cent of the fans vote via our Official App as we secured another clean sheet against the Spanish side for the second successive week to go into the draw for the Europa League last 16.
The Reds were perhaps unlucky not to win on the night, after Axel Tuanzebe’s second-half header was disallowed after the referee reviewed a replay via the pitchside monitor and gave a foul by Victor Lindelof.

On a night for the defenders it is perhaps no surprise that Eric Bailly, making his 13th appearance of the season, was runner-up just behind Matic with 17 per cent of the votes as he worked hard to maintain our clean sheet.
Bruno Fernandes, who started the match as captain, was third with 16 per cent after hitting the bar in the first half, before being rested in the second 45.
Dean Henderson, meanwhile, was fourth with eight per cent and Victor Lindelof and Axel Tuanzebe tied for fifth place with six per cent of the vote via our official app.
