Three October Premier League fixtures changed
All three of Manchester United’s Premier League fixtures in October have been rescheduled, after being selected for live TV coverage in the UK or to accommodate games in European competitions.
United’s trip to St James’ Park is always an eagerly anticipated fixture and it has been selected for live coverage by Sky Sports in the UK. As a result, the game has been moved to 16:30 BST on Sunday 6 October.
However, it's worth noting that the clash with the Merseysiders could be rearranged again, depending on Champions League group-stage fixtures which will be confirmed at the end of August.
Should the game be moved again, it would then take place on Sunday 20 October, with a start time of 16:30 BST, but will still be screened on Sky Sports in the UK.
To finish the month, United travel to Carrow Road for the first time in three years. Our game against Norwich City has been rescheduled for a 16:30 GMT kick-off on Sunday 27 October, due to the Reds’ participation in the Europa League.
Despite the date and time of the game being altered, it will not be broadcast live in the UK.
