Manchester United's squad numbers for Saturday's Legends of the North fixture with Liverpool have been confirmed.

Manager Bryan Robson and assistant Andy Cole will have 20 ex-United players to choose from, spanning a range of eras, from Class of '92 graduates to our club captain from the 2018/19 season, Antonio Valencia.

The match, which will raise funds for the Manchester United Foundation, kicks off at 15:00 BST and tickets are still available to purchase.

Quinton Fortune spells out what he thinks the new boss needs to do when he arrives at Old Trafford.

Famous names from our glorious past will reprise their former squad numbers, with Gary Neville sporting the no.2, Patrice Evra donning no.3 and Antonio Valencia taking no.25.

Some numbers are shared, with Wes Brown and Jaap Stam each given no.6 and strikers Dimitar Berbatov and Louis Saha both no.9s. Like Valencia, Quinton Fortune is also no.25.

Unfortunately, Paul Scholes and Dwight Yorke have had to withdraw from the squad. Scholes has sustained an injury while Yorke, who has just been appointed Macarthur FC head coach in Australia, now has other commitments.

Diego Forlan has also regrettably had to withdraw from the game due to travel disruption.
