United team for Leipzig clash confirmed

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has named his side for the do-or-die Champions League encounter at RB Leipzig.

The Reds' final match of Group H presents us with the opportunity to progress to the knock-out stage of the competition, providing we can secure at least a point at Red Bull Arena.

Paris Saint-Germain meet Istanbul Basaksehir in the other tie in the pool, looking primed to qualify.

Ole has made five changes to the side that came back to win away at West Ham on Saturday.

David De Gea is back in goal after missing the Hammers trip as a precaution. Also returning is Luke Shaw, after recovering from injury, and he starts in a back five.

Nemanja Matic, Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford all start after being on the bench for the West Ham trip.

Speaking about his team selection and the importance of the match, Ole told club media: "Everyone is important, everyone has a part to play, even if you're a sub coming on, even in the dressing room, you can influence your team-mates. We've seen that so many times lately where our subs have come on and made a difference. The 11 who start will give their all and we'll make changes when necessary.

"I love this - of course the alternative [not having an important game] is so much worse," he added. "It's a game that matters, a game that tests our players and a challenge. It's one we also have to enjoy. The best players always enjoy these moments."
