There is plenty of live football on MUTV coming up, starting with the Under-23s' Premier League 2 game on Friday night.

Neil Wood's Reds are aiming to bounce back from the defeat at West Ham United last time out, when welcoming Southampton to Leigh Sports Village.

The 19:00 GMT kick-off presents another opportunity to see a vibrant, attacking side which could feature the likes of Anthony Elanga and Facundo Pellistri on the flanks. Ethan Laird made his comeback from injury against the Hammers and will be looking to get more minutes under his belt at right-back.

Following the clash with the Saints, Wood will take an Under-21 team to Accrington Stanley for a knock-out tie in the Papa John's Trophy next Tuesday.

The game must be decided on the evening and kicks off at 19:00 GMT but is not permitted to be shown live by MUTV. No supporters will be allowed into the Crown Ground to watch the game either.

On Saturday, there is a huge game at Under-18s level with United meeting Liverpool at the Aon Training Complex.

The clash with our big rivals starts at 11:30 GMT and, again, is live on MUTV. Neil Ryan's youngsters have been in fantastic form this term and the two sides sit on 21 points at the top of the northern table.

Hence, it should be a tremendous battle, with both teams recording 4-1 wins last time out, Ryan's boys against Newcastle United and the Merseysiders over Burnley on Tuesday.

The action does not stop there for MUTV viewers as United Women's game at Aston Villa, which kicks off at 12:30 GMT on Saturday, will be shown in full before the coverage begins on the channel for the first-team fixture at West Ham United in the Premier League.

The clash with David Moyes's Hammers kicks off at 17:30 GMT and MUTV will have all the best build-up to the big one at the London Stadium.
