Highlights | See how the young Reds came from behind to beat Barnsley in the EFL Trophy...
Fletcher has enjoyed a fine month on the field, helping the Reds to consecutive wins in the league.
Jack was not involved in our Premier League 2 opener – a 4-2 defeat away at Arsenal – but scored the opening goal in the Reds' 4-1 win over Stoke City at Leigh Sports Village the following week.
In our Under-21s' most recent fixture, against Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park, Fletcher provided two assists – for Sam Mather and Gabriele Biancheri, respectively – to help us beat the Lancashire side 3-1.
Arguably, the midfielder's best performance of the month came not in the league, but in the EFL Trophy, where the young Reds' overturned a 2-0 deficit during the final 10 minutes of a tough away trip to Barnsley.
Fletcher scored twice in the final minutes, after Ethan Ennis had halved the Tykes' advantage, to earn us a memorable 3-2 win. His second goal, our equaliser on the night, was a booming long-ranger that will live long in the memory.
Congratulations on your nomination, Jack.
