Man Utd against Man City at Old Trafford

Vote: Was the win over City our best at Old Trafford this season?

Manchester United registered a statement win over local rivals City in incredible fashion on Saturday.

The Reds were trailing on the hour mark after second-half substitute Jack Grealish headed home at the back post for the visitors.

But a four-minute turnaround towards the end would see Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford net in quick succession in front of a bouncing Stretford End.

Our unbeaten run at Old Trafford now stands at eight matches in the Premier League, and we’ve - perhaps most notably - had some memorable performances against the fellow 'big six' in that run. But was yesterday's triumph the best of the bunch?

Ten Hag: I'm really pleased with the team

Erik ten Hag provides his immediate reaction to an incredible comeback victory at Old Trafford...

Our impressive record was kickstarted by a compelling victory over Liverpool back in August.

After a difficult start to the season, that involved losses to Brighton and Brentford, the win against our Merseyside rivals signalled a major turning point in Ten Hag’s first few months at the club with goals from Jadon Sancho and Rashford enough to seal all three points.

Away wins to Southampton and Leicester City put us in good stead heading into our next home game: Arsenal. The Gunners were in high-flying form on their visit to Old Trafford, and when Gabriel Martinelli appeared to open the scoring for the visitors, it looked as though that would continue.
But chalked off for a foul on Christian Eriksen in the build-up, it paved the way for United to take control with Antony scoring on his Reds debut.

Bukayo Saka grabbed an equaliser on the hour mark, but a 10-minute double from the in-form Rashford would see the Reds secure yet another big win against a rival opponent.
Rashford's double helped United to three points over Arsenal.
After dispatching Mikel Arteta’s men in early September, we would welcome their north London rivals Tottenham Hotspur in mid-October, three days after a frustrating goalless draw with Newcastle United on home soil.

To this day, it can be argued that our performance against Antonio Conte’s Spurs side is our most complete yet under Ten Hag. We dominated in every area of the pitch, and goals from Fred and Fernandes tied up a well-deserved three points.

In that moment, it felt like everything clicked for United under Erik, with the Reds showing signs of a real identity under the Dutchman.
Either side of the World Cup, victories over West Ham, Nottingham Forest and Bournemouth kept the momentum rolling at the Theatre of Dreams, ahead of yesterday's visit from Manchester City. This clash was a test of our mental fortitude, having been beaten convincingly by our neighbours in the derby earlier this season.

Keeping our cool when Pep Guardiola’s side took the lead, the Reds came from behind in incredible fashion late on, making it one of our most memorable outings so far this campaign.

But was it your favourite of our home triumphs against the 'big six' under Ten Hag? We want to know - vote in the poll below!
