Kick-off change for United Women

Thursday 08 April 2021 12:41

The kick-off time for Manchester United Women’s fixture against Tottenham Hotspur has been changed.

Casey Stoney’s team will face Spurs in the Women’s Super League on Sunday 25 April, in what is our next top-flight outing, after the international break. The match was originally set for midday but has now been moved to 12:30 BST as it will be shown live on BBC via the red button.

In the reverse encounter in the capital, back in October, United beat Spurs 1-0 thanks to a 67th-minute Millie Turner header.

See the best action from Barnet, as the Reds keep up our unbeaten start to the WSL season...

The Reds will be looking to bounce back following the disappointing 1-0 defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion in our last league match.

That result saw us drop to fourth in the WSL table, with three league matches to go. Tottenham’s North London rivals Arsenal now sit third, in the last Champions League spot, on goal difference and also have a game in hand on Stoney's side.

Several United players are currently on international duty but when they get back, the Reds will play in the Women’s FA Cup fourth round on Sunday 18 April.

We will be away to the winners of the Burnley v Sunderland tie, which takes place this weekend.
