Foundation to host Stadium Sleepout at Old Trafford

Friday 04 November 2022 17:07

This winter, Manchester United is hosting a stadium sleepout in the Munich Tunnel at Old Trafford, in support of vulnerable young people across Greater Manchester.

Manchester United is encouraging supporters to swap their bed for a sleeping bag for a night and join us on 2 December 2022, as we unite to raise vital funds and awareness for those experiencing hardship this winter.

In this first ever sleepout at Old Trafford, fans will sleep in the iconic Munich Tunnel on a cold winter’s night with only their sleeping bag for warmth.
Funds raised will be split between Manchester United Foundation and Centrepoint, a charity that supports homeless young people, for the two charities to support individuals who are living in crisis this winter.

Supporters will spend the night outdoors in the dropping December temperatures and will gain insight into the big issues surrounding homelessness and what can be done to support in local communities.

Last year, 121,000 young people asked for help with homelessness. This year, you can help by joining the Old Trafford sleepout.

Registration is £30 per person and all participants will be asked to pledge a minimum of £300 in sponsorship to support those who are impacted by the rising cost of living and the unfortunate situations in which they may find themselves.

Register your place now.

Participants must be 18 years of age or older.

T&Cs apply.
