Manchester United forward Elisabeth Terland is in the running for the WSL Player of the Month award for February.

Our no.19 scored three times in her two league outings, with the Stavanger-born sharpshooter grabbing the only goal of the game at Tottenham, before bagging a brace in the 3-1 home victory over Crystal Palace.

In a successful spell for the 23-year-old, she also opened the scoring in the 6-0 Adobe Women's FA Cup triumph away to Wolves.

The other nominees are Kelly Gago and Toni Payne (both Everton), Arsenal duo Mariona Caldentey and Frida Maanum, plus Manchester City's Mary Fowler.

Ella Toone won January's WSL Player of the Month trophy for her exploits following the turn of the year.

United boss Marc Skinner is also competing for the Manager of the Month trophy.

Marc is up against Chelsea's Sonia Bompastor and Arsenal's Rene Slegers, with the London clubs also winning both of their WSL matches in February.

The Reds currently sit in second spot in the table, seven points behind leaders Chelsea.
