Manchester United claimed three precious points with three superb goals on Thursday night, as the midweek Premier League programme ended in scintillating style.
The Reds' 3-2 victory over Sheffield United at Bramall Lane was the 10th and final top-flight fixture spread across three evenings and was arguably the most thrilling as, for the sixth time in six league games on the road, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men came from behind to win.
Marcus Rashford netted with two clinical finishes, one in each half, while Anthony Martial opened his Premier League account for the season.
Either side of those three great strikes, the Blades scored through David McGoldrick, both at the beginning and end of a contest in which Reds goalkeeper Dean Henderson made an unfortunate error and later redeemed himself with a match-winning save.
