Action & Reaction: Everton 1 United 3

Saturday 07 November 2020 17:15

Manchester United overcame Everton 3-1 at Goodison Park in the Premier League, as Bruno Fernandes stole the show and Edinson Cavani netted his first goal for the club.

The Reds found themselves a goal down after Brazilian winger Bernard stuck one into the bottom corner, but it was a short-lived advantage for the hosts, with Fernandes heading us level and then beating Pickford again, actually with a cross intended for Marcus Rashford, just before half-time.

Cavani put the result beyond doubt in stoppage time when Bruno turned provider and laid the ball off to his team-mate at the end of a quick counter, enabling the Uruguayan to slot home.
