KEY QUOTES

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer: “It was great, exhilarating. When you see a team perform like this and players perform like this, I know there are quite a few United fans who will go home – maybe some young fans – saying: ‘I want to be like those attackers, I want to be like Brandon Williams, Dan James, Marcus Rashford.’ That’s what we’re here for, and we haven’t done that enough this season, but today I thought it was excellent.”

Daniel James: “Today was another outstanding performance from us. As we’ve done in the past few weeks, we’ve been creating chances and scoring them. From the start of the season it was about moulding as a team, and as the weeks have gone by – on Thursday night, and in the games at Norwich and at Chelsea – the interplay, creating chances going forward and that high press have been a big thing for us. That’s where we got the goals from today.”
MAN OF THE MATCH

Brandon Williams was voted Man of Match after the win. Making his first start in the Premier League – and his fourth in all competitions – the young left-back enjoyed a superb afternoon against Graham Potter’s men and helped to ensure we kept a second clean sheet in just four days, following the previous Thursday’s 3-0 win over Partizan Belgrade.
