Manchester derby date confirmed

Friday 26 January 2024 16:00

The second Manchester derby of the Premier League season has been given a confirmed date and kick-off time, in the latest set of fixture amendments.

City will host United at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday 3 March, with the contest getting under way at 15:30 GMT, a slightly earlier kick-off time than usual for this slot.

The match will be broadcast live on Sky Sports in the UK.

When is the FA Cup fifth-round draw?

The draw has been delayed this Sunday afternoon, after Wolves became the latest team to go through.

It will be United's first league appointment in March, a month where we're also set to face Everton and Sheffield United, at Old Trafford, and Brentford, in the capital.

The journey across town follows hot on the heels of the Emirates FA Cup fifth round, which will be played during the preceding midweek and would involve both the Reds and the Blues if we're successful in beating Newport and Tottenham respectively this weekend.

Erik ten Hag's men will be out for revenge against the title holders, who won 3-0 at Old Trafford in the reverse fixture last October.

We've lost on our last two trips to the Etihad Stadium, but still hold a positive record there when facing Pep Guardiola and his team, with four victories to the home side's three since the Spaniard was appointed in 2016.

Ten Hag and Guardiola shake hands after last season's fixture.
