When is the FA Cup fifth-round draw?

Sunday 28 January 2024 14:19

The draw for the fifth round of this season's Emirates FA Cup will take place before Manchester United's clash against Newport County at Rodney Parade this Sunday afternoon.

Erik ten Hag's side face the League Two outfit in South Wales, as we chase a place in the last 16 of the competition.

The draw will be broadcast live on ITV1 in the UK and will be made at around 15:20 GMT, at half-time during Liverpool v Norwich which kicks off at 14:30. It was initially due to take place before the game at Anfield but Wolverhampton Wanderers' 2-0 win at rivals West Bromwich Albion ended later due to a break caused by crowd trouble.

Newport and United have been selected as ball number 14 and former Chelsea and Liverpool defender Glen Johnson will take care of proceedings from the studio.
