Omari Forson has departed Manchester United following the expiry of his contract.

The attacking midfielder has decided to begin a new chapter in his career with Serie A side AC Monza.

United will receive a compensation fee with Forson having spent the last four years in the Academy.
The 19-year-old made his debut against Wigan Athletic, coming off the bench in stoppage time of the Emirates FA Cup third-round fixture to become the 249th player to have progressed from the Academy to the first team.

Forson made six further senior appearances, with four coming in the Premier League and another two in the FA Cup.

As with all departing Academy graduates, he will have a lifelong association with the club and will always be welcome back through the Alumni programme.

Everyone at United wishes Omari the best of luck for the future.
