Manchester United interim manager Ralf Rangnick has confirmed Aaron Wan-Bissaka was ruled out of the game against Norwich City due to injury.

The right-back was hurt in the closing stages of the 1-1 draw with Young Boys and was not available for the trip to East Anglia.

Ralf has stuck with the full-backs on duty against Crystal Palace last time out in the Premier League, with Alex Telles starting and Luke Shaw on the bench.

"I think everybody did well, including the two full-backs, against Palace," said Rangnick. "Offensively, they put a lot of effort into it and they were always dangerous, putting crosses into the centre of the box. I was very pleased with both of them against Palace.

"Two of them [the squad] are ill and the other ones are injured - Aaron got two knocks against Young Boys and he didn't feel well enough to be part of the team today."

After changing the entire XI for the Young Boys game in the Champions League, it is a third unchanged side in the Premier League after the draw at Chelsea, with Michael Carrick in caretaker charge, and win over Palace.

When asked if it was always the plan to retain those on duty last weekend, Ralf replied: "Yeah, that was one of the reasons why we changed the starting XI against Young Boys. The other reason, as I said, was to see the other players play in a competitive game. We could train the whole week with the other 11 players so, for me, there was no reason to change anything."
