Four Manchester United players will be seeking success in an England shirt this summer, when three international tournaments get under way.

Jesse Lingard, Marcus Rashford, Under-23s goalkeeper Dean Henderson and our women's team captain Alex Greenwood are all now preparing to play for their country, following confirmation of the Three Lions' and Lionesses' squads for the UEFA Nations League, UEFA European Under-21 Championship and Women's World Cup respectively.

The number of Reds in England's ranks rises to five if we include Greenwood's international team-mate Abbie McManus, who last week signed a pre-contract agreement to join United this summer after leaving Manchester City.
Jesse and Marcus will be hoping to feature for England as the Nations League reaches its climax.
UEFA NATIONS LEAGUE

Gareth Southgate's 23-man senior squad for the finals in Portugal was announced on Monday evening, with Lingard and Rashford both making the cut as expected. The players to miss out from the initial 27-strong group were Southampton's James Ward-Prowse and Nathan Redmond, plus Tottenham Hotspur stars Kieran Trippier and Harry Winks.
When he was selected for the original list earlier this month, Lingard tweeted: "Always an honour to be called up for my country, can’t wait to get started with the boys. #NationsLeague." Rashford, meanwhile, shared several photos from England's training facilities at St. George's Park, including this one of a spectacular strike:
Lingard scored his first England goal against their Nations League semi-final opponents, the Netherlands.
UEFA EUROPEAN UNDER-21 CHAMPIONSHIP

After an excellent season helping Sheffield United earn promotion to the Premier League, Henderson has been named in Aidy Boothroyd's England Under-21s squad for the 12-team tournament in Italy.

The shot-stopper tweeted on Monday: "(I'm) delighted to be selected for the Euro finals in Italy", with a pic from last summer's Under-20 World Cup, when he collected a winners' medal as England's substitute goalkeeper.

FIFA WOMEN'S WORLD CUP

Greenwood will have the honour of being the first Manchester United Women player to play in a World Cup, after her selection was announced on 8 May - three days before she lifted the Women's Championship trophy as Reds captain. Alex tweeted at the time: "(I'm) honoured and proud. Dream come true." McManus, who was listed as a Manchester City player when the squad was confirmed, could join Greenwood in facing United duo Lizzie Arnot and Kirsty Smith when England's campaign in France kicks off with an opener against Scotland.
United Women captain Greenwood is in Phil Neville's Lionesses squad.
