Alexis and Lingard ready to face Bournemouth

Jose Mourinho has revealed that both Alexis Sanchez and Jesse Lingard are ready to return to first-team action in Saturday's Premier League game against Bournemouth.

The Portuguese also confirmed that Marouane Fellaini and Diogo Dalot would be absent from the match on the south coast, while Antonio Valencia remains sidelined due to a knee issue.

"Dalot and Fellaini, they are still out," the boss told MUTV. "The only one that went one step behind was Antonio Valencia with some problem in his knee. But Lingard and Alexis, now I can say ‘ready’."
Lingard appeared as an injury-time substitute during last Sunday's 2-1 win over Everton, but has not played a lengthy role in a match since the Carabao Cup game against Derby County, which he started.

Alexis has also made a recent cameo, for the dying stages of the 2-2 draw with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, but missed the subsequent matches against Juventus and Everton after aggravating an issue picked up during the international break.
The manager and his staff have enjoyed a full, uninterrupted week of training at the Aon Training Complex, leaving Mourinho pleased with their work.

"A very good week," stated Mourinho. "We work tactically, we improve some fitness levels. We improve some of the players that were almost there but not there – Lingard, Alexis – these kind of players, that were already available but not yet at a good level. We trained with our kids too, mixed with us on one of the days, which is an amazing feeling for them. A good week."
United are seeking back-to-back wins in the Premier League for the first time since September, and will face a Bournemouth side riding high in the table, in sixth.

The Cherries have won five of their last six games in all competitions, but could be without former Academy graduate Josh King, who has missed their last two games due to an ankle complaint.

Eddie Howe's side won their first Premier League clash with United, 2-1 back in 2015, but the Reds are unbeaten in five subsequent meetings, including the last two on Bournemouth's home turf.
