What's happening at United this week?
After the signing of Harry Maguire and with the new Premier League season just days away, there's plenty going on in the world of Manchester United this week.
Here's what we have to look forward between now and Sunday...
The Academy will play a first match in the EFL Trophy, with Neil Wood's team set to make the trip to South Yorkshire to face Rotherham United at the New York Stadium The game will be shown live on MUTV and kick-off is scheduled for 19:00 BST. Our young Reds will also play Doncaster Rovers and Lincoln City in the group stage, from which the top two sides will advance to the next round of the competition.
The September 2019 edition of our historic magazine, Inside United, is also released around the world, featuring exclusive interviews with Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Tahith Chong, Fred and more.
It is a day of debut anniversaries for a number of current Reds. David De Gea, Phil Jones and Ashley Young all made their United bows in our comeback Community Shield win against Manchester City in 2011, while Eric Bailly made his first start against Leicester City in 2016.
It's the final day of the summer transfer window in England. Clubs have until 17:00 BST to sign and loan players ahead of the new campaign.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is expected to hold his first press conference of the competitive season, at the Aon Training Complex.
The 2019/20 Premier League season will then begin in the evening when Liverpool host newly-promoted Norwich City at Anfield, with kick-off set for 20:00 BST.
Our Under-23s will also embark on a new Premier League 2 campaign, opening against West Bromwich Albion at Aggborough Stadium.
Neil Ryan's Under-18s will play against Sunderland in the first match of the new Under-18 Premier League North season. Kick-off at the Aon Training Complex is at 12:30 BST and the match will be shown live on MUTV.
Then, our local rivals Manchester City begin their league campaign away to West Ham United (12:30 BST), before top-four rivals Tottenham Hotspur are at home to Premier League returnees, Aston Villa (17:30 BST).
United finally embark on the new Premier League season, by taking on Frank Lampard's Chelsea at Old Trafford, with kick-off at 16:30 BST.
The Reds are high on confidence after winning all six of the summer's pre-season fixtures and all three of our news signings - Daniel James, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Harry Maguire - are expected to feature at some point.
