Bolt mimics Rashford celebration at Soccer Aid

Soccer Aid for UNICEF returned to Old Trafford on Sunday evening, as the World XI ran out 4-2 winners over England in an entertaining contest.

Several Manchester United legends took part in the all-star charity event on their former home turf, with Patrice Evra, Darren Fletcher, Nani, Gary Neville and Paul Scholes among those involved.

Scholes was introduced for England as a half-time substitute and helped momentarily turn the game on its head, following Usain Bolt's first-half strike.

The 'fastest man in the world' raced on to a Francesco Totti pass and slotted home, before utilising Marcus Rashford's trademark celebration in pointing to his temple.

But Scholes - even at 48, clearly still in great shape - played a part in the equaliser before ramming the ball into the corner from 20 yards soon after to make it 2-1.

Unfortunately, the midfielder then had to depart the pitch injured and the game soon turned, with a brace from Robbie Keane and a Kem Cetinay strike securing a fourth straight success for the World XI team.

At full-time, it was announced the event had raised over £14 million in funds for UNICEF.

Sunday was the first time Old Trafford has hosted Soccer Aid since 2019, with Stamford Bridge, the Etihad Stadium and the London Stadium used in the meantime.
