Manchester United Women's midfielder Vilde Boe Risa has praised the feel-good factor currently running the Reds camp, insisting everyone is working in unison to achieve success this season.

Marc Skinner's side have made a valiant start to the campaign, winning all three of our opening WSL fixtures, against Reading, West Ham and Brighton.

The Reds sit top of the table at present, and Boe Risa made her third cameo of the season last weekend. Ahead of our clash with Leicester this weekend, the Norway international is hoping to register more minutes as our schedule hots up over the coming weeks.

Boe Risa: It feels like home

United Women's Vilde Boe Risa says she enjoys living in Manchester, and playing for Marc Skinner's Reds...

''I'm feeling good, it's lovely to be here and I am enjoying every minute of it actually,'' she began, in a recent interview with club media.

''I just want to take the shirt over my head for Man Utd, I just want to do it all the time.

''Hopefully I can start some games from the start, but then I am also happy to come on and help the team win some games.''

Adding seven new faces to our squad this summer, head coach Skinner amplified the need for more competition for places this season.

Having started the season in fine fashion, the Reds have seen eight different scorers find the net already, whilst also registering three domestic clean sheets along the way.

Now, with the stakes never higher, Boe Risa admits everyone is pulling towards the same goal in the hopes of achieving something special this campaign.

''Its a good feeling to get a start, we have had some good games and had some good sets of play,'' she added.

''I think what we are doing in the week, we are able to get it out in the games and that is important to feel like we are able to get the potential out of the squad.

''We need to continue to work hard and its going to get tougher with the games soon. We need to continue at that high level throughout the season.''

Skinner: We've still got more to come

Marc Skinner insists United Women can get even better after a 4-0 defeat of Brighton.

Against Leicester City this weekend, United will hope to build on solid foundations built so far in the WSL.

With the Foxes themselves enduring a difficult start to the 22/23 campaign, Boe Risa insists the approach to the game must still be at the optimal level.

''They have had a tough start to the season so far, but that doesn't mean it will be an easy game for us,'' she said. ''We just need to build on what we have started this season, keep working hard and get a good start in the game, maybe then it will be easier.

''We can't let anything coming between us and we need to get a good start.''
