Watch United Women v Leicester live on MUTV

Saturday 14 October 2023 11:00

Manchester United Women are back in WSL action on Sunday at home to Leicester City, with the game live on MUTV in the UK and Ireland.

It promises to be an enthralling clash as Marc Skinner’s side, fresh from Tuesday’s historic Champions League meeting with Paris Saint-Germain, take on the early league leaders, who have won their opening two games.

You can still buy tickets for the encounter at Leigh Sports Village, which kicks off at 12:00 BST. But if you can’t make it in person, subscribe to MUTV to follow our live coverage from 11:30 BST (UK and Ireland audiences only, due to broadcasting restrictions).

And as well as watching the encounter against the Foxes, why not make our limited-edition digital collectible part of your matchday routine?

The unique, fun artwork is available to claim until full-time on Sunday and unlocks exclusive benefits – learn more below or by visiting collectibles.manutd.com.

United head into the match in good spirits, and are still unbeaten this term after Tuesday’s memorable first-ever Champions League tie – a 1-1 second-round, first-leg draw with PSG.

And while Leicester’s victories over Bristol City and Everton indicate they’ll be tough opponents, the Reds have history on our side, having won all six previous encounters with the East Midlands outfit.

Mary Earps, recently named the world’s best goalkeeper, is in line for her 100th league appearance for United, while there are several other players in good early-season form for Skinner’s team.

Lucia Garcia and Leah Galton, who both feature in our latest collectible design, have already got off the mark this campaign with important equalisers – the former in the dramatic come-from-behind win at Aston Villa on the opening day and the latter in the 2-2 draw with Arsenal.

Melvine Malard made her second goalscoring appearance off the bench in as many games to earn the draw against PSG, while fellow summer signings Hinata Miyazawa and Geyse were also introduced in the second half to help turn the tide against the French outfit, providing further exciting evidence of what they’ll bring to United’s attack this season.

With experienced duo Ella Toone and Katie Zelem continuing to pull the strings in midfield and World Cup winner Irene Guerrero being eased into action, the signs are promising for Skinner’s team.

Mary Earps is set to join Katie Zelem, Mille Turner, Ella Toone and Leah Galton in making 100 league appearances for United.
