Thursday 23 April 2020 16:00

The votes are in – and you’ve decided that United’s 5-0 win over Club Brugge in late February is the winner of our special Europa League Match Rewind poll.

That means we’ll stream the entirety of our five-goal destruction of the Belgians on our Official App and the homepage of ManUtd.com from 19:00 BST – completely for free!

In case you missed it, we asked app and web users to choose between four continental victories from the 2019/20 season, with convincing success over Partizan Belgrade, AZ Alkmaar and LASK missing out to this Old Trafford victory, featuring a brace from Fred and Odion Ighalo’s first goal for the Reds.

THE MATCH

After a first leg in Belgium which saw United pick up an away goal in a 1-1 draw, the Reds returned to Manchester and put on a five-star display against a 10-man Brugge side. Bruno Fernandes gave us the lead with an audacious penalty-kick after Simon Deli’s deliberate handball, before Ighalo opened his United account, converting after good link-up play between Fernandes and Juan Mata.

Scott McTominay, in only his second game back from a long-term injury that had kept the Scotland international on the sidelines since Boxing Day, was among the goals before half-time, as he powerfully stuck home our third goal from long range. Fred, who had only scored once previously for the Reds, then added a late brace to cap off a superb night at the Theatre of Dreams and book our place in the last 16 of the Europa League.

HOW TO WATCH

To watch the full 90 minutes of United's 5-0 success over Brugge, simply open the Official App or navigate to the homepage of ManUtd.com at 19:00 BST.

Stay tuned for our next Match Rewind poll, which goes live on Friday.
