Confirmed: When you can see Erik's pre-Forest press conference

Tuesday 24 January 2023 08:48

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag will speak to the media today ahead of Wednesday evening’s Carabao Cup semi-final first leg.

The boss will meet with journalists at Carrington to answer questions prior to the last-four clash with Nottingham Forest at The City Ground (KO 20:00 GMT).

While fan conferences have been held before each of our previous ties in this season’s competition, in which United supporters have had the unique opportunity to put questions to the manager and members of his squad, this will be a more traditional pre-match media briefing with reporters.

An update from both camps in advance of Wednesday's first leg at The City Ground.

The first part of his pre-Nottingham Forest press conference will be streamed live on MUTV, ManUtd.com and in the United App from 12:30 GMT this afternoon.

You can follow everything the boss says on our official platforms, including all the key headlines, team news and more.

Ten Hag will likely be asked for an update on how his squad is shaping up for the visit to Nottingham and if our recent absentees – including Diogo Dalot and Anthony Martial – will be available to return.

The boss spoke glowingly before we faced Forest at Old Trafford over the festive period about their atmospheric home stadium, and ahead of his first visit there as a manager, he could also be quizzed about that prospect.

The form of Steve Cooper’s side and a busy week of cup action ahead for the Reds could be among the many talking points too.

While you can watch the first section from 12:30 GMT, the second half of the media briefing will be available to view from 22:30 GMT tonight.

You will also be able to find every word from that across our platforms, in the build-up to Wednesday evening’s tie.
