Three Reds named in England squad for qualifiers
Manchester United have three representatives in England's squad for their European Championship qualifiers next month.
Harry Maguire, Marcus Rashford and Luke Shaw have been included in a 25-man group for matches against Malta and North Macedonia.
The first of those fixtures is away on Friday 16 June, before the Three Lions return to Old Trafford for the first time in over 16 years for the second outing of the month, three days later.
Old Trafford to host England qualifier
ArticleThe Three Lions will take on North Macedonia at the Theatre of Dreams in June 2023.
The game will be the 18th England men's international to be played at our home stadium and the first since February 2007, when Spain got the better of the Three Lions in a friendly on M16 soil.
Last summer, the Lionesses memorably kicked off a triumphant UEFA Women's Euro 2022 with a 1-0 win over Austria at the Theatre of Dreams.
England will be bidding to continue a perfect Euro 2024 qualifying campaign so far, both at Old Trafford and during the opening fixture of the international window in Malta.
Gareth Southgate's side registered a 2-1 victory away to European champions Italy, before running out 2-0 winners against Ukraine during their opening two games of the group stage in March.
Congratulations to Harry, Luke and Marcus on their selection, and we look forward to hopefully seeing them represent their nation at Old Trafford next month.
Here we go.
