Goalscorer Rashford came second, while Martinez was third on another solid outing which saw the Stretford End once again chant 'Argentina!' at him as he walked off the pitch.

De Gea spoke to various media outlets after the game, including NBC Sports, and he was delighted to help towards the win, after being a virtual bystander in Thursday's 3-0 win over Sheriff.

”I dont know [which was my best], probably the header from Zouma. It was almost a goal but all of them,” he said.

“I am happy and I have to make these saves to help the team, like I said before, it is a massive win.”
