Patrick Chinazaekpere Dorgu is a physical, hard-running defender who is comfortable playing across multiple positions.
He was unveiled to supporters, alongside fellow new arrival Ayden Heaven, ahead of the Premier League match against Crystal Palace, having signed a contract keeping him at Old Trafford until June 2030, with the option of an additional year.
After making his debut as a right full-back, against Leicester City, Dorgu soon became Ruben Amorim’s first choice on the left flank, helping the Reds to progress to the Europa League final.
He particularly impressed in the 4-1 victory over Real Sociedad, winning the penalty Bruno Fernandes scored to give us the lead in the tie.
