On loan
Yorkshire-born goalkeeper who joined from Barnsley in 2021.
He was named Academy Player of the Season in his last season at his former club and spent the 2021/22 campaign playing semi-regularly for United’s Under-18s. He also spent time on a work experience loan with Bradford City, playing games for the Bantams’ U19s while still training at United. Wooster helped Bradford to become EFL Youth Alliance North East champions. In February 2023, Wooster went on loan to Ramsbottom United for the remainder of the 2022/23 season. On his debut, Tom saved a late penalty to earn his side a point away to Workington AFC. In the 2023/24 term, Tom made three appearances for our Under-21s, in addition to a stint at Macclesfield Town and joined Farsley Celtic on loan in August 2024.
