The Munich Air Disaster remains the darkest chapter in our history and a moment of profound loss that left a team, a city and the global football community in mourning. The events of that day, and the players, staff, crew and journalists who so sadly lost their lives, are respectfully honoured here – a story of remembrance, honour and enduring resilience that continues to shape the values, unity and identity of Manchester United today.

On 6 February 1958, a charter plane crashed after refuelling in Munich. The accident claimed the lives of 23 people, including eight Manchester United players and three club officials. We will never forget.
