“It’s so disappointing, less than a minute left and we concede a goal like that. We switched off at the end and that was the only thing that did test us today. I feel we were comfortable with what they were bringing. We knew they were quick, one-two’s with Eden [Hazard] and we knew what was going to be expected and I felt we coped with that very well, but of course the only two goals they scored were from set pieces and we need to do better than that. It’s hugely disappointing with the feeling now as it feels like a loss. We should have won and that is that.”

"It was not too easy when you get an early yellow card. I had to be even more wary when you have that danger and he has probably been one of the best in the Premier League this season, and he was one of the best at the World Cup. We conceded a goal from a set-piece, but we were in the game so the distance between the first and the second half was not as big as it was against Newcastle. “Maybe after the 2-1, we had again great positions to score the third goal. We were the best team, we were calm, we had complete control and I hope every referee does the same as Mike Dean to give six minutes [of injury time]. Normally, when I'm losing, I never have five, six or seven minutes.”

“Some changes that every team does - three for them, three for us. We wanted to do two at the same time but Rashford was injured so we couldn't do it. But I never saw what the majority of the goalkeepers in the Premier League do, which is to go until the limits of the yellow card [for time-wasting] and David never did that. Asked if he was shown respect by Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, the manager said: “No, I don't think, but that's not my responsibility. I have a certain level of education, socially and in sport. In the aftermath of the Chelsea celebrations, something appeared to upset Jose Mourinho, which caused a melee in the dugout. There was also a flashpoint on the pitch involving both sets of players.

The goal has denied United a deserved three points. You have to keep your concentration right until the very end of these big games. We've played so well. We can take a lot of heart from it, even though we look to only be taking a point.
