"We always knew it was going to be a tough game physically but we just had to match that today, we just had to make sure we did and then play our football. That's where the first goal has come from and then we've fought to the end and got that penalty."

It's advantage United after the first leg in Andalusia. It wasn't a vintage display from the Reds, but we were certainly the better side and Fernandes's late penalty means United take a strong lead back to Old Trafford. De Gea was rarely troubled by the hosts thanks to a strong defensive display, one we'll need again next week in the second leg.
