Despite what is a disappointing defeat, we must remember it is merely a pre-season friendly and there are a number of positives to take away from Michigan Stadium. Here are three to consider: 1: Andreas Pereira scored a brilliant free-kick during another accomplished performance in midfield. He looks fit, sharp and confident ahead of a big season for him at Old Trafford. 2: Summer signing Lee Grant executed a series of saves during his first-half outing, earning praise from fans and emphasising why he became our third-choice goalkeeper earlier this summer. 3: Fresh from joining the squad on tour, our other new recruit Fred made his anticipated first appearance in his newly-inherited no.17 shirt. He’ll now hope to feature against Real Madrid.
